mmm...what a delicious fare!

as was mentioned before, papa bear is an excellent chef and he cookes really yummy asian-singaporean food(haha...it sounds alot like we are blowing our own trumpets here but you can't deny the truth, can you?lol)...and so there was this night when he experimented with the fine art of hor fun making. alas, we forgot to take a photo of the chef at work so all we have here is the finished product:

thick but chewy hor fun noodles stir fried with dark soy sauce, light soy sauce and sesame oil
accompanied by succulent pork strips, the fresh "oceany" sweetness of prawns and crabstick (albeit the fact that they are imitation crabsticks...lol) and healthy greens!

oh but wait a minute, did we forget something? ah...here is it! the delicious must-have egg drop sauce made from chicken stock, oyster sauce, garlic and eggs!

and the spoils of this meal for four? around 12 dollars or so if i don't recall wrongly! see how restaurant fare can be made more affordable when you decide to cook at home? haha...so remember to watch out for more of our yummy posts because we might just decide to set up a hawker centre here one day!
