We Ate a Rainbow:)







my dearest korean friend, ellie unni, has been staying at our place for the past few days before she leaves for sydney-indefinitely! so sad. but we had heaps of fun together these past few days that she has been staying with us. on monday night, both of us decided to combine effort to make this simple korean dish that i've been dying to try out and the results were yummilicious!!!
the dish is called Bibim Guksu in korean, which means mixed spicy and sweet noodle salad, or something to the like of it. here's the recipe:
Ingredients:
Soba noodles/ Angelhair Sphaghetti, Shredded Cabbage, Shredded Lettuce, Shredded Kimchi (2 TB), Shredded Cucumber or Zuchinni, Shredded Carrot
Hardboiled Egg X 2
Sauce: 2 TB Gochujang (Korean Hot Pepper Paste), 2 TB Honey, 1 TB Brown Sugar, 1 TB Sesame Oil, 1 TB Soy Sauce, 1 TB Rice/White Vinegar
Addition:
Korean Veggie Dumplings in Miso Soup with Seaweed
so the steps are really easy peasy. just shred all the ingredients as mentioned above.
hardboil the eggs and slice it.
mix up the sauce and mix into the noodle and veggie mixture.
and that's it! you get to eat a healthy concoction of rainbow coloured food!
